To raise the total alkalinity (TA)

Application

Alca-Plus raises the total alkalinity (TA) level of your spa water. A low TA level may cause the pH to fluctuate. It also causes spa water to be corrosive, which may result in staining and damage to the spa surfaces.

Advantages

• Prevents spa and equipment damage • More stable pH value
• Improves flocculation

Product description

White odourless powder
Contains: Sodium Hydrogencarbonate

Dosing recommendations

Check the TA at least once a week using SpaTime test strips, and if necessary adjust to the optimum value of 80 – 120 mg/L. Dissolve the required amount in a clean container, with clean water. Always wash container thoroughly before use. Always add product to water and not vice versa. Pour solution evenly around the perimeter of your spa with the filter pump running.

Important information

This product should be used solely for the purpose specified.

Delivery Costs

We offer a complete delivery, installation and set-up service.  This allows our experienced team to delivery your Hot Tub and get it to your desired position in your garden.  We will then run a complete installation of the Hot Tub, filling it and setting it up ready for first use.  You are giving care instructions and shown how to use the controls before we leave, so you have everything you need for years of happy hot tubbing.

This delivery service costs £500.

In Stock Items

Here at Online Spas we always have a large number of Hot Tubs in stock and ready to be delivered.  To organise this to suit you, we will contact you prior to delivery to complete a survey of the area to ensure we can easily delivery, install and set-up your Hot Tub for you without the need for cranes or additional equipment.  We will then agree a delivery date that suits you and schedule your Hot Tub in for delivery.

In Transit (items that are mid-shipping)

Delivery of your new spa if it is "In Stock" (mid shipping) will depend on where in the shipping cycle your new spa is.  You will be informed prior to ordering what the delivery time scale will be. This can vary dependant on where the spa is in transit and this will be communicated to you upon ordering.

Bespoke

If you have ordered a bespoke hot tub spa the lead time on your delivery will be 6-8 weeks.  Bespoke items are ordered individually and have to be especially made for each customer and then shipped to the UK.

Are you looking to buy a hot tub but have questions? Read some of our frequently asked questions below.  If your questions us not featured, please get in touch and let us know, we are always happy to help.

Q  Do I have to take a credit check for the weekly offer?

A  Yes, the product is financed through a panel of lenders and is taken on a monthly basis starting one month after install. Please note you must have good credit to apply!

Q How do I apply for finance?

A You can do a finance application once you have chosen your perfect spa. This is found in the product section of the website. It will take you to a link to the finance provider for you to complete the application

Q What if I have had any bad credit, CCJS, missed payments etc in the past?

A Unfortunately our finance provider wouldn’t approve. However, we do accept debit/credit cards as an alternative method of payment. Please note balance would be payable on delivery as we don’t do payment plans with a debit card.

Q What deposit is required to secure my luxury spa?

A If you take our finance option once the application is approved we would require a minimum of £50. Alternatively, we would require 10% of the value on cash terms.

Q How is access checked to see if I can get the spa into my garden?
A We understand delivery is not always easy. However, there is always a solution! If you are unsure we would require some photographs from you to survey the property and advise from there from our expert installers.

Q What base can I fit my spa on?
A We recommend a solid base for example slabs, hardcore, stones to keep the spa level at all times.

Q What is the difference between a plug and play 13 amp spa and a 32 amp spa?
A The major difference is that our plug and plays plug directly into a standard output and are generally cheaper to buy upfront. You would find that the 32amp ones that need hard wiring in by a qualified electrician would have slightly more jet power. Please call if you would like to know more information on 0333 366 1229
